My fasting blood sugar immediately after i woke up was 100 mg/dl. i measured it 10 min later after sipping very little watter (approx 100 ml or 3.3 oz of water) and and the result was 93 mg/dl. which reading is more accurate?

Does not matter: The proper test for fasting glucose is on a plasma specimen, done at an accredited laboratory. Home tests are suitable for diagnosis. The difference between the two values is with the measurement range of the method you used. Have a healthy diet, exercise 30 minutes/day, drink plenty of water, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. For nutrition: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/.
