How accurate is blood sugar test done at home with gluco meter as compared to a test done in a lab?

Much less accurate: While they may be quite accurate, home testing measures different glucose than in lab. Can vary 15-20% and still be considered "accurate enough". Plus, error can be significantly more due to poor technique. The only truly accurate level is one drawn in a lab.
