Rib/Chest wall pain: Many causes of rib pain. One with painful joints between the sternum and the ribs due to costochondritis(c) and it can hurt more when lying down at night. C is often associated with recent viral illness(like common cold). Also possible to strain muscles between ribs, from heavy lifting or poor posture. These can also lead to costochondritiis. As with any chest pain..Check with your doctor.
