Low HDL: Your HDL (good cholesterol) is very low as it should be over 40mg/dl. Exercise is a good way to raise HDL but you would also benefit from meds. Ask your pcp about certain meds like Niaspan (niacin) which may also help raise this number. Your LDL (bad cholesterol) is slightly high and can be lowered with diet. Do you have any other medical problems? This and age/gender will dictate your goal ldl.
