Ingestions: When infant starts crawling at 9 mo, the whole house should made child proof. There should be no small object on the floor. Small toys/ parts, lego pieces, coins, medicine, candies, pieces of papers are commonly ingested. At 6 month well child visit, pediatrician gives anticipatory guidance on this. Your child must have ingested the glass piece. Keep eye on the stool for any other object/blood.
