My 6yr old has been running a fever for 4 days now, appetite is ok but a couple of weeks ago we had her stool tested and there was blood there. ?

May need to be seen: While fevers and even blood in the stool can be from fairly benign causes, anytime a fever starts to last for close to 5-7 days, it could mean a more serious problem. While a good appetite is reassuring, it would be important to explore other symptoms. Also, blood in the stool from a few weeks ago, may or may not relate to this problem. Need to know why it was checked then. If child sick, be seen!
