Rotator Cuff Tear: There are classically 4 rtc muscles. A partial tear of the tendon is usually treated with conservative care. This includes scapular stabilizer exercises and rotator cuff strengthening with proper posture. Takes about 6 weeks to produce hypertrophy of muscle and to remodel the tendon. Other choices can be pain relief medications and interventional injections such as platelet rich plasma.
