In all my: years of practice....(over 50) I have never seen or head of a case of lacrimal duct tumor.....not to say such doesn't exist... they do( VERY RARE!! )....it is far more likely that blocked lacrimal ducts are STUBBORN...and surgery while helpful a certain % of the time....can "fail" Hope this is helpful...continue treating!!! NOT to worry! Dr Z
