What do the colors on a cardiac doppler mean?

Usually direction : Usually direction of blood flow, the colors are changeable and are set usually to indicate the direction of blood flow towards or away from the probe, typically red means towards and blue away from. Mixture of colors or color aliasing occurs where there is turbulent flow.
