A member asked:

Doppler: trace tricuspid regurgitation. color flow along left coronary cusp is suggestive of small coronary artery to pulmonic artery/ rvot fistula. v-max (ao) 1.1 mis. mitra! does this mean i have heart structure problem?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

You are right, you have a structural defect that you should discuss with your cardiologist to better understand. There are defects that could be corrected and that is what you should discuss with your doctor. The trace and minor defects sometimes could not be functunally debilitating enough to risk doing surgery but you had ECHO for a reason that you ought to discuss solution with your doctor.
