No: Shingles specifically affects nerves and would not cause any issue with our mastoid bone with the exception of pain in the overlying area. If the pain feels like it is deeper than overlying skin area, if you are having any systemic signs like fever or chills, you may want to consider mastoiditis as a diagnosis instead and should seek medical attention for antibiotics.
