I have a swollen lymph node behind my ear on the mastoid bone but no sign of infection and has been there for over a month what could it be?
Hard lump on skull (tip of mastoid bone) directly behind earlobe. Hard, immobile, rice-pea size. Had ultrasound which did not show anything, they said was not a lymph node. What else could this be? Having a lot of anxiety over this?
There is a little hollow spot behind the ear under the mastoid bone and in the neck you can just put your finger into, is there a lymph node in that area?Why would it be uncomfortable for me to chew there, there is no swelling at all?
