Usually 3-5 days: Hand-foot-mouth disease is common this time of year, but we are starting to see it drop off a little in our area. It is pretty typical for the fever to last 3 days, and not unusual for 5 days. Usually the last 2 days the temperature does not tend to get as high. The longest i've seen hfm fever last when there was no other source at all for the fever was 7 days, but this is rare.
