HFM pattern varies: It is triggered by one of a few gut virus strains and show no rash, isolated rash on hand, foot, mouth, anus or all & in mouth. The label derives from a time we had no lab to confirm the viral cause, just the observed rash & pattern of spread. Fifths never has blisters. Without seeing it, it is hard to confirm/exclude.
