Hot lips: Only if you are kissing hot lips. If you have minor burns to the lips, recommend that you give the kissing a break. Use KY jelly and neosporin ointment to keep the burn surface moist. Use 50% mouthwash and 50% hydrogen peroxide as a swish and spit solution three times per day. Monitor for fever blister. The lip should heal quickly within 7-10 days. If problems seek physician care.
