Probably not.: If the cramps were at the time of your period or bleeding, then likely the cramps will disappear with your uterus (hysterectomy.) if the cramps were from your intestines, they may not go away after a hysterectomy.

Possible: You will not have cramps from your uterus after it is removed. However, often cramps are coming from the ovaries, the bowel, or the bladder - and that will not be changed by a hysterectomy.
