A member asked:

Is it possible for you to still get menstrual cramps even after a hysterectomy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Abdominal pain: If your ovaries were left behind at the time of hysterectomy, you might get pain coming from them if you develop an ovarian cyst or torsion of the ovaries. Also have in mind gastrointestinal conditions that can mimick cramps like constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, intestinal adhesions , bladder infections etc.
