A member asked:

Can surgically incised abcess fill up again?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

In dentistry: It can, if the problem that caused the abscess is not treated. A tooth root abscess could be surgically drained, but unless the tooth undergoes root canal treatment or the tooth is extracted, the abscess will recur.
