See doctor ASAP: There are several possibilities including recurrence of the abscess, slowly progressive infection of the underlying bone, some inflammation or scarring from prior inflammation pressing on a nerve root, etc.. You need to be seen by a doctor and re-evaluated and suggest that this be done before whatever this is becomes much worse. Good luck.

I had an abscess which has no burst, this was the first one I've had since my surgery to drain clean the last one in had 2 years back I believe. I used surgical spirit to clean the surrounding area after the burst, I think that irritated my skin.
