Lactobacillus: It means contamination. Lactobacillus is good bacteria in colon and vagina. It is transmitted to urethra. No treatment in normal people. It can cause UTI in immunodeficient and dialysed pt. The urine has to be mid stream or suprapubic & colony count >100k plus symptoms of uti. Treated withpcn or genta. It is good bacteria that digest dairy products, produces vit k. & kills bad bacteria. Thanks.
