No: There is usually no scar tissue following the healing of an extraction. Have the dentist who extracted the tooth examine the area to see what is causing this color.

Tooth socket?: I'm assuming you are referring to the color of the healing tooth socket following an extraction. This would have to be clinically seen in order to determine if anything is wrong and requires further treatment. Food coloring? Pus? Other? See the dentist who removed the tooth for an evaluation. It's part of routine aftercare.
