Is your puppy: up to date with his immunizations? Rabies vaccine are only necessary with bites that are high risk for transmission of Rabies. A scratch on the skin by your own puppy that can be observed if at all necessary, hardly qualifies. You would not of course keep a rabid dog as a pet?
