Little help with: These medications and others often recommended once hypertrophic scar has already occurred. None of them greatly reduce the scar tissue, although they may help some not developing into a hypertrophic scar. I would discuss with a dermatologist or plastic surgeon to discuss options, which will most likely include either laser treatment or mild surgery.
