Tonsil infection: Usually not. Unless the white spots on your tonsils are not infection, but this is not very likely. Or, if the infection is resistant to the antibiotics and the bacteria are growing better with the antibiotics. Or, the white spots might be small colonies of yeast and this can happen in adults and kids when an infection is being treated with antibiotics as a result of the ph change in the mouth.
