Does one get drug tested for sports physicals in highschool?

Generally, No: As part of the recommended sports physical, drug testing is not done. A urine test may be obtained, but it is testing for blood, sugar, protein, etc. However, some schools require drug testing for participants in extra-curricular activities (sports, band, etc.). That is a local issue and, generally, the physician doing the exam is not a participant in the drug screen nor privy to the results.

Very few: Drug testing is used as a deterrent to using, and only a few public high schools require a drug test as part of a physical exam. As they will only be testing for illegal drugs, not prescriptions, we all hope as an athlete you would not be positive. Get help if you are and need help stopping so you will be available for heathy pursuits.

Usually not!: Drug testing looks at recreational drugs, as well as performance enhancing drugs. Neither are good for a young athlete, or for the idea of "true" competition.
