Ignore failure: Motivation to quit is great first step. Discuss with your doctor. Use multiple strategies e.g., nicotine replacement + meds + behavioral approaches. Take one day at a time, and if you don't succeed, ignore failure and try again, and again, and again, until you succeed. Don't let failure sap your self-esteem. If it were really easy to quit, it wouldn't be an addiction. All the best!
