No: It will have no effect on spinal stenosis.

Not usually: There is evidence that strengthening the abdominal muscles will help back pain. This is due to improved posture. Spinal stenosis is due to narrowing of the canal that holds the nerves in the back. I do not think abdominoplasty will help.

Ummm, no: One has nothing to do with the other. In fact, you may not even be a good surgical candidate if you have spinal stenosis. http://www.drschulmanplasticsurgery.com/body/tummy-tuck/.

No: An abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) procedure will not relieve the anatomic or neurologic features of spinal stenosis.

No: Tummy tuck surgery will have no effect on spinal stenosis or any other spine anatomic anomaly. On the other hand, re approximating abdominal wall muscles (that may have spread with pregnancy and/or weight gain/loss) may help improve “core integrity" and provide some support for a weak back.
