Depends: A single dose of 0.25mg of Alprazolam will not cause harm, however benzodiazepine medications such as Alprazolam and others, when used regularly can significant increase the risk of cleft palate and other structural development, especially in the first trimester. Consult with both your ob/gyn and your prescribing doctor before using such meds.
