Perhaps: Some prolactinomas grow faster than others. Generally the medication is started when they are diagnosed. Your doctor may have a good reason for starting later, but you should ask and get the reason explained to you. Perhaps you could start the medication sooner. Or, perhaps your doctor is not sure it is a prolactinoma and wants to retest your levels to confirm.
