Sounds like you: Are having second thoughts about treatment. Yes, they can be removed with little consequence. However, your treatment after 2 weeks is unlikely to have corrected orthodontic issues. The teeth will certainly start to loosen with orthodontics. Please think carefully before interrupting treatment. Consult w your treating dentist.

Why?: The real question is, why would you want your braces removed after only 2 weeks in treatment? That's highly unusual, but you shouldn't lose any teeth, although they might feel loose for a few days. Before taking this radical step, please discuss any concerns you have with your treating orthodontist to determine what's in your best interest. Think long and hard before prematurely terminating treatm.

Probably none: Except for all the money you threw away planning and starting your treatment. Sounds like you're having second thoughts, despite both your dentist and your orthodontist reviewing with you the reasons why you would benefit from treatment. Before you take this misstep, talk it over with the professionals who are trying to help you.

No problem: Teeth can loosen within days of 'braces being placed. The teeth could not have moved very much in two weeks. Most assuredly, those loose teeth will become stabile very soon.

Remove Braces Early: Disappointing to have braces removed after only 2 weeks of treatment, the incisor teeth may show some mobility that has no discomfort, no fear of tooth loss & chewing has no restriction with this braces's removal. Within 3 weeks after removal of braces the teeth be healthy and firm, back to the condition they were before the 2 week treatment.
