Medications: Dear hamster, your physician knows your full medical history. There are a number of different types of medications for sleep. With your health problems it is really important that you check this out with your personal physician or specialist, rather than with an unknown on-line physician. Take care.

Depends on the pill: Your cirrhosis causes medications to be metabolized and processed through the liver much more slowly than normal, so a typical dose of a sleeping pill for an adult should be decreased. Talk to your doctor about the safest dose based on your liver function.
