Pulsatile tinnitus: Or possibly patulous eustachian tube. You are hearing the pulse in an artery near your ear. It could be from fluid in the middle ear amplifying the sound. It could be an av malformation. It could be anxiety induced hypertension. Since it's not persistent, it is less likely to be something serious. As always, let your doctor know so they can follow it.
