Caution!: Our ears receive sound information 2 ways: through the air and through the bones of the skull. When air conduction is diminished, bone conduction becomes dominant. If you're listening to loud music through your earphones, you're temporarily injuring your air conduction, thus you hear your carotid artery pulse thru bone. The hearing impairment can become permanent. I urge you to reduce the volume!
