IV Sedation: Can be done by a register nurse with training in IV sedation. They use mostly versed and fentanyl iv. Also can be done by an anesthesia care provider ( nurse anesthetist or anesthesiologist ). They most probably will use Propofol iv. Safe drug when use by anesthesia personnel. Both ways you will go to sleep and won't remember the procedure. Very common procedure in usa. Minimal cardiac effect.
