Foot Drop: Foot drop is due to a neurologic injury, if improving already then some of the damage was to the insulation on the nerve called myelin. It will improve overtime. In the mean time safe activity such as yoga is good for your whole body. It will not speed up the recovery of the nerve injury itself but it will help with overall fitness and make you more conditioned as the nerve heals.

ID the cause.: Foot drop is caused by paralysis or motor nerve damage/impairment which prevents dorsiflexion of the foot to clear it from the ground when a person is walking. When the onset is recent (3 weeks), identifying the cause is of utmost importance to reverse the foot drop (time is of essence!). Adjunctive p.T. To the treatment (of the cause) is also important.B12 may help, but not sure about yoga.
