Yes it will: Yes bunion will cause chronic pain usually bilateral, especially when inflamed, if correction with proper well fitted shoes fails may need surgical correction.

Bunion: Im not really sure about this question..But, i will try.. If one has bunion pain, chronically, they will change their walking pattern to avoid the pain.....And thereby, cause other parts to hurt, hip, knee ankle , back...Etc. In other words, if you have long term bunion pain. Seriously, consider getting it repaired. See a specialist who does alot of bunion surgery...

It can: Bunions are structural deformities that can be aggravated by shoe gear and activity. If the bunion is not addressed by relieving the symptoms or realigning the structural deformity, then chronic problems can occur. Bunions are progressive problems, the can slw down the progression, but you can not stop it. Dr l.
