Possibly: You don't know if you have an infection, do you? Taking antibiotics when you don't have an infection is totally useless, and taking antibiotics if you do have a dental infection will not fix the tooth. You still need to see a dentist for care, so the sooner you call the sooner you will feel better..

That depends: If your toothache is caused by an infection, then yes it can reduce the infection and the resulting pain. If your toothache is caused by a cavity, but it has not yet begun to abscess, then no, pen vk will not help. Do not self medicate. Go see your dentist to determine the best course of treatment given your particular problem.
