Cause??: You would probably benefit from seeing your family doctor so they may be able to tell you what is causing your cough. If your cough is seasonal, you could have allergies. If you have it after a big meal or certain times of day it could be acid reflux. Fixing the cough is easier if we could find out the cause, instead of putting a band aid on the symptom.

Cough: Depends on the cause. If it is related to mucous/postnasal drip, Guaifenesin and dextromethorphan should help. In some cases, acid reflux can be the cause. In others, asthma can play a role. See your doctor if it doesn't go away on its own.
