Not dangerous at all: Any surgery has some risks. I would put the risk of bone grafting & placement of dental implants as a very low risk on a scale unless you had any major medical problems or were being treated by someone incompetent. I would look at it more as improving your health & quality of life. The best? Any major brand. Personally, i like nobel biocare. But it's really about the surgeon & restorative dentist.

Not a problem: As a general rule, dental implants are relatively no-invasive. Although there are small risks whenever you have any surgery, it will not affect your general health. Major implant companies all produce fine products... The surgeon and restorative dentist will choose the right components for your situation.

Minor surgery & Safe: If you are basically in good health, than multiple implants and bone grafting is a safe and minimally invasive procedure. You will be sore and possibly a little swollen afterwards, but you should bounce back in a couple of days. The wait for implant crowns will be 4-6 months depending on your doctor's protocols. There are multiple implants systems today that all boast excellent success rates.

Not dangerous if..: Not dangerous if you have no medical problems . I have done 4 implant on women 65 years and older; along with synthetic bone graft. All successful after 5 years. Of course, if you have any medical issues, get clearance from your md first.

Bad teeth are danger: Compared to infected gums, decayed teeth needing extraction and/or loss of chewing function from missing teeth, implants are almost always less "dangerous!".
