Parents: Should start brushing their infant's teeth as soon as they start to erupt. Dentists recommend that you also take your child to a pedodontist by the time they are one year of age. There is a lot of important and beneficial information that the pedodontist can talk to you about to ensure that your child has healthy teeth and a healthy mouth for the rest of their life.

Varies: When they can hold the brush. They should brush to start getting the habit. Parents need to take the responsibility to brush and floss until a child is at least 8 or 9 when they start developing the physical dexterity to do so. The academies for pediatricians and pediatric dentists recommend that you take your child to the dentist by age one. I would recommend that you do this for other advice.
