Twice : Twice a day is terrific, but the one in the evening before he goes to bed is the most important, since any food and sugars left on his teeth will also feed the bacteria that are there, all night long.

The : The best time to brush your child's teeth is after your son eats a meal. As a dental health professional we would love to see you brush his teeth in the morning after he has had his first meal and after his last meal of the day, just before bedtime. It would be of greater importance to brush after the last meal of the day just before bed to make sure that no unwanted bacteria or food particles are left behind for the hours that your son is asleep. Remember not to put your child to bed with a baby bottle as this will nullify all the great brushing you had just done!
