A member asked:

My eyelids twitch when eyes are closed, bad balance with rombergs tests, get pins and needles in arms/legs easy. neurological issue?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Some comments: First, regarding eyelids, this could be benign myokymia, and not due to underlying disease. The romberg test may be a result of vitamin deficiency, inflammatory disorder, or even inner ear issue, and altho abnormal, nonspecific. Fluctuating pins and needles may be due to nerve compression. Best approach here is to get full neurological exam, and get a diagnosis which considers these issues.
