I've recently started taking 40mg benicar (olmesartan) daily. is there any benefit in taking 20mg in the morning and another 20mg in the evening?

Dose of Benicar (olmesartan): Benicar (olmesartan) is a once a day medication used to treat hypertension. Taking one 20 mg tablet twice a day offers no clinical advantage over taking one 40 mg tablet daily. Speak to your physician and get her advice to better answer your question.
