I take 50mg metoprolol 2x daily and 1/2 tablet benicar (olmesartan) 40/25 1x daily. my current bp reading is 142/84 pulse 84, 1hr aft taking pm med. is this ok?

BP and medications: If your systolic BP reading, the top number, is consistently > 140 mm of hg your BP is not well controlled. You should speak to your physician and see if increasing the benciar to 40/25mg/ day would be enough to bring your systolic to.
