Usually oral: Vit d is usually given orally. Perscription strength is 50, 000 iu / week . They may want to give her a synvisc, (hylan g-f 20) or steroid shot into knee . But either way shouldnt be a problem. Would want formal clearance from cardio and nephrology prior tho.
