Hammer toe: Sometimes, the full effect of a cortisone injection takes full 2 weeks to develop. If it's not been that long, exercise patience. If it fails, though, there's no much left to do other than surgical correction.

Tylenol (acetaminophen) 3 : For hammertoe is excessive unless you are referring to a post op condition. I would consider other treatment options. I.E. If the pain is on the th too of the toe you need to make sure no pressure is being applied to the toe so wear a spandex material shoe or an open toe shoe. Consider epsom salt soaks in hot water if no contraindication....
