Depression: As you probably know cutting can be addictive as it elicits certain hormones that block feelings of loss temporarily. Talk openly with your psychologist as to what you are avoiding by cutting, when the temptation comes call a trusted friend, talk out your feelings. Go for a walk, run or cycle. Aerobic exercise can produce calming neurochemicals. My best.

Cutting: You should speak to your psychologist about a referral to a psychiatrist. Medical intervention may provide you some relief.
