A member asked:

If i have glandular fever and were to kiss someone in the next few days, is it likely they'd catch it, or is it no longer contagious?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Mononucleosis: Glandular fever, also called mono (short for mononucleosis), is caused by a virus. Although contagious, not all exposed develop the disease. Having said that, you still have to be careful of not kissing anybody, make sure you wash your hands a lot and not share your cups, drinks and utensils..
