Possibly: As long as she has the illness from the same virus you would be immune.As much as 10% of glandular fever/mono is caused by a variety of other viruses. You also may have acquired immunity to those viruses in childhood.

Not 100%: You will be safe if you had an immunity from the same strain of the virus but occasionally this might not be the case.
