Glandular fever: Is also known as mononucleosis. It is caused by the epstein-barr virus that's transferred from one person to another in saliva. Kissing is one obvious way by which the disease can be transmitted. But the infection is also spread via airborne droplets.Incubation is between 30-50 days, but it takes 4-6 weeks to get better. You should avoid kissing for about 4 weeks.
